Cast: Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint

Director: Alfonso Cuaron

Time: 142mins

Year: 2004

Genre: Adventure, Family, Fantasy

My Rating: 9/10

It’s Harry’s third year at Hogwarts, not only does he have a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, professor Lupin. But there’s a convicted murderer Sirius Black has escaped from Azkaban and is coming after Harry.

This is one of my favourite movies of the Harry Potter series. It was full of adventure, mesmerising action with just a touch of heart-felt drama of Harry finally meeting his God Father. Daniel Radcliffe’s performance continues to mature as does his co-stars Rupert and Emma. The movie kept me laughing, at the edge of seat with the action and thrills as well as all of the excitement that was building up to the great reveal of Sirius Black.

This is definitely one of the best Harry Potter movies so far and one of my favourites.
