First Sentences

“I know my fairy tales,” I told my cousin. “And there’s a beast up in that lair.”

My thoughts

I was a huge fan of the first two books, but this last book of the series fell short for me. I think part of the reason was that I didn’t really click with the main characters Victoria and Dimitri. With that said Ms. Cole still did an amazing job bringing these two characters alive on the pages. This last one had tied the series up quite nicely and I liked that they incorporated the other two books into this one so that there was a good continuation of the brothers stories. I’m a little sad that I didn’t enjoy this as much as the others. But it was still a pretty good read. Happy reading!
