Giambattista Valli Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 16’/17’

Watching Valli’s show has always made me feel that I get a peek inside Empress Joséphine’s wardrobe. But I’m pretty sure that she didn’t reveal her midriff. This collection was lavish, elegant and very much royalty. With its beautiful jewelled embellishments, small floral fabric prints, bell sleeves, high ruffle necks, animal and rainforest prints, floor length chiffon cape gowns, and just so much tulle. Long floor length gowns were always soft pleated and had a lot of movement. Bell sleeves was also coupled with a shorter hemline. Cropped tops paired with slim tapered cut pants. And as always Valli had at least 3 looks with his famous tulle style dresses.
