This show completed in 2007. Thirty-two year old single mom, Lorelai, lives with her 16-year-old daughter Rory in a small town, Stars Hollow, Connecticut, with their crazy neighbours and their friends. Lorelai and Rory have a very unconventional mother daughter relationship. But at the end of the day through their ups and downs they love each other dearly.
I fell in love with this series from the moment that I watched it when it first came out. I don’t quite remember what drew me to this drama in the first place but I was hooked and just couldn’t get enough of it. This is one of the series that I’ve turned to when I was feeling out of sorts. Following Lorelai and Rory’s journey through the 7 seasons was fantastic. Although I wasn’t wildly fond of the last season though.
When I hear that Netflix was coming out with a 4-part season of Gilmore Girl for some sort of closure I was so excited and re-watched all 7 seasons to refresh my mind. I found that I still loved it as if it were the first time that I watched it. I loved watching Rory grow up and go through each of her relationships. I kinds grew up with her when I first watched it. There were times that I thought that the girls were a bit much but all in all I loved it. I would love to know what you thought of it!
You can watch it on Netflix!
