Helen Harris is living it up in New York with her career on the right road at a top-modelling agency. She’s spending her days getting fashion shows and signing up the hottest models and her nights at the hottest clubs. But when her older sister and her husband suddenly passes away in a car accident Helen is saddled with being the guardian of her 3 children. 15-year-old Audrey, 10-year-old Henry and 5-year-old Sarah. Helen begins to learn what it’s like to be a full time mum. She adjusts her life to taking care of her nieces and nephews. Helen finds support in the most unusual place, with Dan Parker, the handsome young Pastor at the kid’s school.
The storyline has been done over and over again, but it was a nice movie to relax to. I’ve always loved Kate Hudson movies, Joan Cusack did a wonderful job with her character. It’s a feel good movie and something that’s easy to watch and doesn’t need much thinking.
