Most recent visit: Father’s Day 2015

Cafe Sydney with it’s beautiful location and fantastic food it has quickly become one of my favourite spots in Sydney. The cafe is located above Custom House near Circular Quay. It has a good variety of food choices and amazing dessert choices. I enjoyed their cocktail menu as well as their wine menu. My favourites of the day was the prawn cocktails, seared scallops, pork belly, swordfish, and the deconstructed vanilla cheesecake.

The presentation of the food was amazing, the table service ticked all my boxes and their problem solving skills were impressive. On the day that I went taking my dad for a nice meal the Custom House was flooded with all the weeks rain. But Cafe Sydney had wonderful problem solving skills. We did have to walk through the kitchen and go through the service elevator but we had a wonderful guide which made it easier and trouble free. It was definitely an experience.

I love the atmosphere that the restaurant has and of course I’m a huge sucker for the beautiful view. Even though it was a pretty cloudy, windy and all round chilly day they were ready for those of us who chose to sit outside. They armed us with blankets and heaters to keep us warm so that we could enjoy the meal while keeping warm.

I would recommend the scallops and of course the vanilla cheese cake.

Don’t forget to share your experience with me below. I’d love to hear what you thought of the place!
